Melissa Panter is an art teacher at Eldridge Park Elementary School in Lawrence Township, NJ, where she works with students in kindergarten through third grade. Panter searches for ways to create collaborative art with her students. Her efforts, along with the collective works of her 2nd grade students, culminated in the Handwrite series of books, in an effort to validate art creation and appreciation both in and outside the classroom.
