Grew up in rural, northern Idaho.  Lives and works in Bend, Oregon.  Received his MFA from the Art Institute of Boston.  Works primarily with participatory art as it allows the public to shape the outcome, which Aaron feels makes the work more authentic and meaningful in how it represents the culture it is meant to reflect.

This book presents the art project "Do It DIY", which is a cover of Hans Ulrich Obrist's ongoing series of shows titled "Do It" ("Do It DIY" also lives online at http://doitdiyart.blogspot.com and https://www.facebook.com/doitdiyart). The book shares a few sets of instructions submitted by participants from the general public, including one on creating your own ritual. The book celebrates DIY and critical thinking by inviting the reader to come up with their own set of instructions that critiques our culture in some way.
