Mission driven, Singapore ‐ born artist, Meei‐Ling Ng is both a multi‐media installation artist and a graphic designer. Art with a purpose is her focus when selecting her venue for art installation and exhibition. Her main goal is to use her art installations as a tool to learn about preserving nature, sustainable living and organic farming in an urban environment. To draw people's attention and look closely at these issues. These are the factors that inspire and motivate her to continue creating art. Besides painting, Meei‐Ling mainly uses found, recycled and reclaimed materials to create her art.
Roadkill Ritual-Sacrifices on the alter of speed
We are all the victims of roadkill not just animals. No matter how great we human have advanced ourselves, we are going to end up on the same path where animals go. We invented vehicles to go faster in our daily life but at the same time we are sacrificing so many innocent lives-animals and humans. It's all totally unnecessary. If we could just slow down we can save ourselves and our animal friends.
