J Pascoe is an artist currently based in Philly. Pascoe received her BFA in Intermedia from Pacific NW College of Art, Portland, Oregon and her MFA in Book Arts & Printmaking at The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She is currently focused on using book structures, prints, and installations in her work.
"Energy Exchange" is a mini series of three trace monoprint hexaflexagons created at Second State Press, Philadelphia, PA.
These are part of an ongoing exploration into alienation, estrangement, and how social situations are accessed or engaged. These particular pieces look at the energy exchange between two people and the energy we choose to share, as individuals, with the world around us.
