Anthony Picarelli is an Illustration Major concentrating in Printmaking at the Maryland Institute College of Art. He was born in the year 1992 and raised in Queens, New York City. His work is driven by the instability of the human mind and constructed through unique, personal narrative using advanced techniques in Printmaking media. Works of his are exhibited in public and private venues of the Baltimore and New York City area.
Ritual is of grave importance, developed and crafted with considerate detail, and meaning. Candles are a key instruement used in conducting ceremonies, as a catholic mass to a satnic chant, a tool for seduction, or one to comfort whilst we drift into slumber. The work is a single fold book, executed through silkscreen printing.
