Ben Panter was born and raised in South Jersey. He was a member of the Rutgers Camden Honors College for four years and in 2008 he received his Bachelor of Arts in Art with Distinction at Rutgers - the State University of New Jersey, Camden. In 2012 he was awarded his Masters of Fine Art in Studio Art from Moore College of Art and Design. This program included a four-week international residency at the Burren College of Art in Ireland. Panter has already been included in various important exhibitions including "5 into 1" at the Goldie Paley Gallery of Moore College of Art and Design, Philadelphia, PA and "Low-Tech" at The Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado. He currently works as an Adjunct Photography Professor at Camden County College in Blackwood, NJ. Panter makes work out of his home studio in South Jersey.
