Understanding Is A Dream explores, in book form, the glyphs that I've been using in my paintings, murals and installations over the past four years. This work is influenced by what I like to call the 'anonymous art-making" that happens in the public sphere. Walls get tagged with grafitti, bufed, re-tagged, postered over, weathered down and what remains is an evolution of specific personal histories intertwined. Here the glyphs are formed into overlapping grids of varying colors, intersperesed with meandering feilds of color, seemingly drifting and changing from page to page.
