[frank, tired, slow]

After a discussion about rituals--the difference between rituals and routines, the types of rituals we partake in, the physical aspects & objects that rituals often involve or embody, the idea that a ritual may involve betterment or reaching another state of being--we translated our ideas into a vocabulary we all share: the marks created through our work.

For this book, each participant wrote 3 words in the morning and 3 words in the evening over the same 3 consecutive days; these were then set randomly and printed via a Vandercook Proof Press.
