i am an artist from North Central Pennsylvania, my work addresses issues of power and marginalization thru lenses as varied as the exploitation of the environment and the treatment of the marginalized and excluded in my community. I’m interested, in short, in the stories we don’t tell.

I Get Around

I Get Around is a single sheet book exploring my beauty rituals as a gender non-conforming person living in rural northcentral Pennsylvania. The title comes, in equal measure, from the colloquil expression used in this region (primarily by women and femme identifying persons) to describe getting ready in the morning to go out into the world and by the title of the 2Pac song, boasting of his "way with women"; I chose this title to self declare my own value and sexuality as a gender non-conforming person in a world that often doesn't see me that way.
