Isa Diaz-Barriga is a Mexican American artist and printmaker born the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A printmaker and bookmaker with a B.A. in Studio Art and a minor in History (earned in 2018) from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, they enjoy experimenting with all kinds of materials, especially those they collect on their long walks outside. Current projects include making ink out of foraged materials and making paper. Isa uses their diverse cultural background, long memory, historical research and extensive collection of writing to construct narrative artwork that reaches beyond its personal roots to communicate with a broader audience.

- The South Texas Borderlands

Currently experimenting with different printing processes, Isa takes commissions for linocut illustrations in between their jobs teaching and cooking at a small private school in the woods.
