365 is the result of a drawing-a-day project — a daily constancy in drawing. Experimenting with a foreign surface and unfamiliar tools, Stella drew with sketch software on her iPhone. A step outside the studio and away from the comfort of familiar, analog tools.
Each drawing was forgotten until weeks later when entered into her journal. She found herself asking: are these my drawings? In writing, she attempts to revisit the moment of creation, process, and discovery. Read her art journal at artlog.stellauntalan.com.
This exhibition will be the first time Stella is seeing all of the drawings at one time.
