Arlene Gale Milgram

Arlene Gale Milgram is a graduate of the Tyler School of Art. Her work is in the collections of the Newark Museum, Mercer County Cultural and Heritage Commission,Encaustic Institute of NM and Allergan Corporation. Solo exhibits include the Silva Gallery in Pennington, NJ, The Trenton City Museum, Ellarslie, Mercer County Community College and the Nassau Club in Princeton, NJ. She is a fellow and grantee in the G.R. Dodge Artist/Teacher Initiative. Her work may be viewed at arlenegalemilgram.com, the gallery of DiscoverJerseyArts.com.

I work in a variety of media, but always with a painter's sensibility. My work deals  with reclaimation and  transmitting personal energy through markmaking, layering and scarring the surface. I process my life as I explore various media. The surprise of what can happen is my motivation.
