Facts About Cake You Should Know was an advertisement from a 1942 Health magazine Hygeia. The Department for Health and the American Institute of Baking published a booklet, Cake Parade, that was available at that time for free. I bought a copy on ebay and took the text headings from each page to make my book. The text is hand-set metal type and the illustrations are vintage Austrian wood engravings.
