I am interested in the evolution of personal identity in today's cultural climate and in making as little impact on the environment in the making of my work as possible. I use cotton rag paper, and charcoal of my own making. I strive to make work that is important in the two dimensional format as a challenge above sound, moving pictures, installation or the like, all of which I have worked in. After having studied oil painting and drawing at Moore College of Art and Design, I began a rock band which was active for 6 years while simulaneously making and showing visual work in Philadelphia ( Eltro). I now live and work in Atlanta with my two children.
