On view is her current work in oil from the Color Chords series: an exploration of the analogy between color-guided composition and musical expression. Her watercolors and prints will also be on display. She's in Studio #1.
Studios are open from noon – 5 pm
Free parking is available in the building lot.
The MADE IN PHILLY campaign takes over traditional advertising spaces to showcase the extraordinary but often untold quantity and quality of visual art being produced in Philadelphia...and connects each work displayed to the neighborhood (even block) where it was created.
Susan Richards will be showing her work with five other artists.

We're a little cloud company that provides DIY portfolio websites for artists, galleries, or artist groups. Our designs are clean and uncluttered — everything is intended to focus on your work.
Our sites are subscription based. So we manage everything, all you do is upload your images and update the text. We do all we can to reduce the number of decisions an artist has to make — so more time is spent making art.
100 Pearl Street Gallery is located within the lobby of 100 Pearl Street and managed by the Greater Hartford Arts Council. Built in 1989, 100 Pearl Street is a 17-story office tower located in the heart of Hartford’s central business district and home to the Greater Hartford Arts Council and many prestigious firms.
Skull Currency is another way of saying that our thoughts have value. Each life is measured within the skull of the one who lives it. My potato skull prints merge several traditions of ancestor veneration into irreverent portraits of what we will all someday become. They also investigate the custom of marking our bills of commerce with the faces of our most valued ancestors.

Conversations with Land is a new body of work by Damini Celebre. The gallery is dotted with tiny and small paintings on panels and one work constructed of four 24 x 24 inch panels. In these works she pulls the sky down into the same plane as the earth, and air swirls amid them. There is no up, no down — no representation — it is a spiritual universe. Undulating energy reveals itself in each mark.
