Seen and liked: Drew Zimmerman at Muse Gallery

We stopped by Muse Gallery yesterday and found a surprising array of  paper mache. A wonderful experience. We're so sorry that we didn't pay attention sooner so we might have seen the puppet films.

If you get a chance stop by to see the show. It's worth the trip. We took a few snaps to share with you.

Betty Leacraft in Textural Rhythms: Constructing the Jazz Tradition

San Francisco's Museum of the African Diaspora features works of art spun from two highly improvisational forms of African American culture... jazz and quilting.

Philadelphia Artist Betty Leacraft is participating in this exhibition. She's currently getting her work together for her bubble.

Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site is currently accepting proposals for its 2012 season of site-specific artist installations. Maximum funding is $7,500 per project.

The last of our artist conversations for the Snowflake Salon features Linda Dubin Garfield on Sunday, February 6 from 1:30 to 4 PM. She'll be in the gallery to discuss her passion the ART of Printmaking. She loves monotypes and will discuss how she makes them. If you are interested she'll also share some of the other categories of printmaking as well. Relief and intaglio techniques; block printing, etching, lithograph, silk screen, drypoint, stencil, collagraphy, and viscosity printing.
