After years of realistic figure work in oil, I decided to play in pastel.  Drawing inspirations form the fabulously fun “Dr. Sketchy” models who play at dressing up like it’s Halloween anytime.  I want to find the cartoon-like posturing that allows for distortion.  Being someone else in their own bodies, the models are flirty and playful without fear—often ironic.  Taste run amuck, innocent in feathers and lace – because they can.
