Lovely Goldfish I
Lauren Litwa Holden studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts where she received numerous awards for painting including the William Emlen Cresson Traveling Scholarship. Through the Center for Emerging Visual Artists she attended a residency in Florence Italy and was awarded a residency at the Margo-Kelb Dune Shack in Provincetown, MA. A partial list of exhibitions include the Henry Gallery Penn State, Philadelphia Artists Alliance, Center for Emerging Visual Artists, Nexus Gallery, Noyes Museum, PA State Museum, Stedman Gallery, Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, Prince Street Gallery, Widener University, Keystone Art & Culture Center and Stuart Levy Gallery. She received a grant from the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation which helped fund her studio and First Prize for painting at Art of the State at the PA State Museum. Publications include Signature Brandywine Magazine, The Hunt Magazine, Brandywine Magazine. Philadelphia Inquirer, Art Matters, Philadelphia Business Journal and Studio Visit Magazine. Collectors come to her Wawa, Pennsylania Studio to purchase her prints, watercolors and oil paintings.
