Artist Rebecca Gilbert leads a hands-on studio workshop that explores a method for intaglio printing drypoints and etchings without need for paper or a press. By printing onto plaster, you can create dimensional objects that can be reproduced and drawn onto. This fun and nontoxic process is appropriate for varying skill levels and great for artists who want to explore new media but have limited equipment at home or in their studios. Bring a few small sketches with you to begin the process. If you already have a small etching plate that you would like to print and an etching needle, bring those too.
