Bill Brookover is showing a new drawing in LIGHT, a members exhibit at Da Vinci Art Alliance. The drawing is based on a pre-Hispanic Peruvian textile in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is rendered in cross-hatched lines using three colored pencils in each section of the grid.
Da Vinci Art Alliance (DVAA) is a non-profit art space based in South Philadelphia that provides resources, exhibition space, and community for its artist members and surrounding neighborhoods. Presenter of the annual Da Vinci Fest, DVAA inspires all who walk through its doors to explore their inner genius.
Due to COVID restrictions, the exhibition is best viewed on the DVAA website, which features every piece in the exhibit.
