New Jersey Artists: Celebration, 2nd Annual Artists Contest

Exhibition June 2nd – June 29th 

A Juried Exhibition of New Jersey Artists.
$4,500.00 in prizes will be awarded to 5 winning entries (1 winning entry per artist only). 

Reception: Sunday, June 2nd 2013

The purpose of this exhibition is to showcase artists living in New Jersey. All works submitted should reflect the theme of Celebration (expressions of joy upon achieving success, overcoming adversity, reaching a milestone, etc.).

Jury Panel 

The jury panel will examine all entries submitted and select those which are to be accepted for exhibition. Notification of acceptance will be sent via E-Mail. All artworks accepted and exhibited will be eligible for “in Person” review by the jury panel. Cash prizes will be awarded based on the jury’s “in person” review of all accepted and exhibited artworks. All winners will be notified via E-Mail.

Eligibility
The exhibition is open to artists living in New Jersey. Artists must be a minimum age of 18 to enter. 

Entry Fee
Entry Fee is $10 for up to three entries. All entry fees are non-refundable and proceeds will be donated to Arts Guild New Jersey. 

Size & Specifications
The exhibition will consist of two dimensional artworks in all media. The maximum size limitation for all entries is 36” x 36” framed. Accepted work should be suitably framed and ready for hanging with picture wire. No saw tooth hangers please. The weight limitation for wallhanging work is 20 lbs. Accepted artwork cannot be substituted and must be available for the duration of the exhibit. 

Submission
Entries may be submitted on a CD through regular mail or via the internet as outlined below. Images should be no larger than 1200 pixels in either direction at 300 dpi. JPEG format only. Please check your CD to make sure your images have been burned properly. No folders or PowerPoint presentations permitted. RSI Bank reserves the right to exclude and/or refuse any work which differs significantly from the selected entries or that does not meet the specifications as outlined in this prospectus. CD’s will not be returned unless a postage paid return package is provided.
