I studied fine art at Kutztown University and then privately with Myron Barnstone of Barnstone Studios. I worked as a graphic designer and courtroom illustrator for The Morning Call in Allentown, PA.
I am fascinated by the way light falls on a form and defines it. My goal is to discover and explore the underlying design and structure of my subject in my drawing -- whether the subject be still life, portraiture, or the figure. I believe there is poetry in studying and understanding a form -- my goal with each rendering is to comprehend the manner in which value and light work to reveal the grace and beauty of the subject.
